Level 2 Course
6 days - Advanced knowledge and
Practical application on real patients
The Level 2 course is 6 days and is always in-person. The main advantage of Level 2 course is that includes clinical practice with real patients under Instructor’s supervision during the course. There will also be an extended education with case-based discussions about clinical decision making. It is open for registration only for Physiotherapists that already passed Level 1. There is no time limitation between Level 1 and Level 2. The participants will give practical exams to get their certification. After passing the exams they will get their final certification as PSSE – Schroth Therapists. They will be able to expand their knowledge and skills during Masters course, which is optional.

- Review of Level 1 course
- Advanced exercises for Kyphosis
- Advanced exercises for every Scoliosis type
- Advanced mobilisation techniques for Kyphosis and Scoliosis
- Practice of the exercises between therapists
- Practice with real patients under Instructor’s supervision
- Case-based analysis for treatment decision and practical approach
- Observation of treatment with real patients
- Advanced knowledge about special Scoliosis cases (Congenital, Neuromuscular, Syndromic, Adult Degenerative, Post-operative)
- Introduction to Bracing for Kyphosis and Scoliosis
- Practical exams with real patients

Nikos Karavidas is a Physiotherapist, born on February 28th, 1985, in Athens. He established Schroth Scoliosis & Spine Clinic, a specialized center for conservative treatment of spinal deformities, like Scoliosis and Kyphosis.
He is the Chair and Inventor of PSSE – Schroth method (Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis Specific Exercises), which is the latest development worldwidely in scoliosis and kyphosis treatment. He gives courses in Greece and many other countries all over the world.
