In December 2022, Nikos Karavidas delivered an international webinar to present the PSSE-Schroth method — the latest evolution in the conservative treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis.
The interest was remarkable, with more than 1,100 registrations from professionals worldwide, highlighting the strong global demand for innovative, evidence-based scoliosis care.
The webinar provided a clear overview of the PSSE-Schroth method, including:
The PSSE-Schroth classification system and its application in clinical decision-making and treatment planning.
Presentation of treatment results from real patient cases, demonstrating the effectiveness of the method in improving curve stabilization, posture, and aesthetics.
Key differences between PSSE-Schroth and other Schroth-based methods, emphasizing the integration of Pilates equipment, yoga-inspired movements, and TRX in the 3D correction concept.
An outline of the PSSE-Schroth educational pathway, from Basic to Level 1, Level 2, and the Masters Course, ensuring a structured and comprehensive learning journey for physiotherapists.
The PSSE-Schroth method stands out as the only scoliosis-specific exercise approach that systematically integrates traditional Schroth principles with modern movement sciences, Pilates equipment, and functional training tools. It offers both adolescents and adults an evidence-based, innovative, and highly individualized treatment strategy.
This webinar remains an essential introduction for anyone interested in becoming certified in PSSE-Schroth and joining the international community of professionals advancing non-operative scoliosis and kyphosis care.
